About Royal Life Center at Puget Sound

Royal Life Center at Puget Sound is a full-service treatment center where those suffering from substance use disorder can safely detox and enter a residential treatment program. The residential treatment provides medical detox services and aftercare planning in a comfortable environment. Treatment includes evidence-based therapy, individual sessions, as well as groups based on the biopsychosocial model of addiction. Royal Life Center blends 12-Step elements, CBT, DBT, motivational enhancement therapy (MET), life skills, and relapses prevention along with a variety of holistic options such as art therapy, music therapy, writing, yoga, and meditation. Unique to Royal Life Center at Puget Sound, they include Dr. Phil’s Path to Recovery, an evidence-based, virtual reality program developed by Dr. Phil McGraw and his son. Dr. Phil’s Path to Recovery consists of 29 exercises, each with 2 components: a virtual “sit down” with Dr. Phil and a comprehensive workbook meant to be completed with the VR component.
Royal Life Center at Puget Sound is located in Sumner, Washington. This gorgeous part of the Pacific Northwest is the perfect place to begin a journey of recovery. The campus is located in a quiet neighborhood and provides semi-private bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything is provided for the client while in treatment, including laundry services and chef-prepared meals. The facility has an industrial kitchen, a large dining room, spacious common areas, and a living room complete with couches, big screen TV’s, books, and games .Royal Life Center at Puget Sound is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
