About Rustenburg Addiction Care

Rustenburg Addiction Care was founded in 2012 on the Western Cape in South Africa on one of the oldest farms. Their program consists of group and individual counseling, written work, and psycho-educational lectures. Upon admission, clients receive comprehensive assessments including medical, nursing, and psychiatric assessments. Rustenburg Addiction Care is a 12-Step-based, and clients are introduced to Fellowship during their stay. They have assigned counselors that do 1-to-1 sessions, and during those sessions clients will be asked to look at psychological, family, and childhood traumas that can contribute to addictions. Rustenburg Addiction Care offers a final phase of treatment where clients will practice returning to work, family life, recreations, and their domestic environment. Rustenburg Addiction Care accepts medical aids, and clients are encouraged to call and verify.
Rustenburg Addiction Care has a warm, comfortable, homey feeling with renovated housing on a large rustic farmstead. They offer semi-private bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Rustenburg Addiction Care has two swimming pools, basketball court, volleyball court, and a designated area for soccer. Their formal support program includes art therapy, drumming, a gym, and an outdoor aerobic fitness program. During a clients stay they will be able to participate in weekend outings to different destinations around the Cape Peninsula. They provide shuttle services to the local malls once a week.
