Saint Catherine’s Center for Children Copson House is a 24/7 residential facility that provides well-supervised care for 25 children from ages 5-13 years old. Children removed from their parents or legal guardians are brought to this facility for foster and residential care. The primary goal of the program is to treat trauma and reunite the children with their family. The center has several programs that aim to address the needs, provide safety, dignity and respect to the children while recovering from trauma. Individualized plans of care to identify critical challenges when a child returns home. While at the center, they attend therapeutic activities individually, with family or in groups in a less restrictive environment. The location of the center is very close to parks with playgrounds, large ponds and a walking trail, giving space for children to run, have fun and explore the environment.
