Approximately 9 miles north of downtown San Antonio, next to the San Pedro & Thames bus stop, San Antonio Recovery Center (SARC) San Pedro offers outpatient addiction treatment. They offer a full continuum of care, with this location specifically providing a day treatment (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). SARC offers an array of holistic and evidence-based therapies, within personalized treatment plans to help clients on their journey to recovery. Some of the unique therapies they use include art therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, eye movement therapy (EMDR) and stress management.
SARC San Pedro is equipped to handle addictions and co-occurring mental health concerns. In addition to their unique therapies, they offer evidence-based care that are widely used in treatment programs. Some of these approaches include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), 12-step programming, and aftercare planning. SARC San Pedro is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most major insurance.
