Sauk Valley Voices of Recovery (SVVOR) is a peer-led nonprofit Recovery Community Organization (RCO) serving individuals and families impacted by alcoholism and substance use disorders in Lee, Whiteside, DeKalb, and Ogle counties in Illinois. SVVOR provides a safe, supportive environment where individuals at all stages of recovery can connect with peers, access resources, and build a foundation for lasting wellness. The organization offers a variety of services, including peer recovery support, sober living programs, and community-based activities like the monthly "Sober Night Out." These programs emphasize holistic recovery by addressing both the emotional and social aspects of addiction. By fostering community connections and offering accessible, stigma-free resources, SVVOR empowers participants to achieve and sustain their recovery goals.
