Care is available at five locations in Southeast Arkansas: Pine Bluff, Sheridan, Star City, Stuttgart, and Rison.
Treatment is personalized to each person’s needs and goals. Staff offer care with dignity, compassion, and full respect for privacy. Services are available 24/7, including in emergencies. People may come on their own or be referred by a doctor, family member, or another agency. The clinic welcomes everyone, regardless of background, identity, or insurance status.
During a visit, a person might receive a mental health evaluation, talk with a therapist, or learn ways to manage emotions and stress. Some may take part in
group therapy or receive medication support. The clinic provides a calm, supportive environment where healing can begin. The goal is to help each person feel stronger, more stable, and ready to move forward in life.
Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System provide structured pathways to evidence-based care.
