About Serene Retreat
Serene Retreat specializes in treating substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. Clients meet on an appointment basis and can engage in 1-on-1 counseling, eye movement therapy (EMDR), hypnotherapy, life skills, art and music therapy, 12-Step facilitation, and meditation and mindfulness. An emphasis is placed on relapse prevention counseling and the development of coping skills to deal with everyday life. The last phase of the treatment is after care support. Clients are referred to their local communities to participate in on-going support from NA and AA support groups.
