About Southeast Florida Women's Rehab

Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab provides a long-term residential treatment program for women who are 18 years or older and struggling with substance abuse disorders. Over the course of 12 months, patients will focus on spiritual, emotional, physical, and social well-being. Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab firmly believes that lasting change can take more than 30-90 days, and specializes in providing individualized treatment plans at an affordable cost. Using methods such as individual therapy, group therapy, peer-to-peer counseling, and vocational support, provides day-to-day structure, community, with an emphasis on faith over an extended period of time, leading to better chances of long-term success in sobriety.
Part of their inpatient program involves developing patients’ vocational skills, teaching humility, care, trustworthiness, honesty, and the traits of a good worker. They work with individuals, helping them set career goals and a future plan to be self-supporting and find purpose in their daily lives. Participants will have work assignments on campus, usually in a group setting.
Southeast Women’s Rehab offers a progressive treatment model consisting of 4 different levels. Level 1 is referred to as the recovery portion. Residents will attend classes, learning to recognize and change destructive thoughts and beliefs and acquire healthy coping mechanisms. Level 2 focuses on renewal, guiding participants through the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual work that lead to healing. Restoration and healing is the emphasis of level 3, assisting patients in discovering their unique gifts and talents and finding their purpose in life providing a solid foundation for the future. Level 4 is referred to as the transition process. Residents will begin taking practical steps toward putting what they’ve learned into action. They will provide support and encouragement as patients secure housing and employment, and gradually re-entering their lives outside of residential treatment. 12-14 weeks are typically spent at each level, while the intensity of care and monitoring decreases as patients advance.

Evidence-Based Context: According to SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2023), approximately 48.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that treatment programs combining behavioral therapy with medication-assisted approaches show the highest rates of sustained recovery. Facilities like Southeast Florida Women's Rehab provide structured pathways to evidence-based care. Sources: SAMHSA NSDUH 2023, NIDA Principles of Drug Addiction Treatment (4th Ed.)
