STEPS Women's Residential Treatment Program

STEPS Women's Residential Treatment Program, a Level II and IV therapeutic community in Apopka, Florida, treats substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. They offer a full continuum of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, day treatment, and residential programs. The center prioritizes indigent, pregnant, and postpartum individuals, as well as those with children or who are IV drug users.
STEPS uses a person-centered approach with therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and network therapy to help clients achieve positive life changes and community reintegration. They offer the REAP Program for 24/7 case management and resources, an inmate treatment program at Orange County Jail, and a mobile treatment unit for uninsured residents.
