The Peer Support Specialist Program (PSSP) at Stone Ledge trains people in recovery to help others with substance use disorders. It covers recovery techniques, clinical practices, life skills, and health and safety. Graduates can become Kentucky Peer Support Specialists and earn up to 28 college credits. Something unique about the program is the creative arts PSSP, which uses the arts like theater and music to enhance peer support and recovery.
Second Chance Automotive provides vocational training for individuals in recovery, equipping them with skills to become certified mechanics. This initiative combines addiction treatment with practical job training, offering participants hands-on experience in automotive repair. The program at Stone Lodge facilitates the transition from addiction recovery to sustainable employment, helping individuals build stable, productive lives.
