About Sumter Behavioral Health
Sumter Behavioral Health is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) in Sumter, South Carolina offering evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their trained staff help clients learn new coping skills in individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Additionally, they provide medication-assisted treatment. Sumter Behavioral Health also has a 13-bed women’s residential treatment program. The residential program is for women with primary substance use disorders and focuses on teaching independent living skills and group therapy for 40 hours a week.
