Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

Located near downtown Elizabethtown, the center provides safe, Christ-centered care for youth ages 12–18 who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma. The center offers therapeutic residential treatment and round-the-clock support. Staff focus on helping each child heal and grow, while preparing them to return home or move into foster care. Sunrise builds healing through daily therapy, counseling, and on-campus schooling. Licensed therapists use trauma-informed care, individual therapy, and group sessions to meet emotional and behavioral needs. Staff members work closely with schools, caregivers, and community partners to support each youth’s growth, using compassion and consistency to guide them forward. Youth at Sunrise live in clean, well-organized homes with their own personal space and shared common areas. Staff serve home-cooked meals and encourage healthy routines. Residents enjoy structured activities like games, arts and crafts, and worship services, helping them feel part of a safe, loving, and stable community every day.
