Focus

This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.

Sunrise Detox Alpharetta opened its doors in 2003 in a northern suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. This facility prides itself on providing a safe and comfortable medical detox for men and women who are in search of beginning their recovery process. Sunrise Detox helps clients take that first step away from drugs and alcohol. Sunrise Detoxification takes approximately 10 days. During a client's detox, they are encouraged to participate in 12-Step meetings. Incoming clients will have a full medical exam and an assessment to provide an individualized care plan. Once a client is stabilized, they are welcome to join group therapy sessions, and these sessions are rooted in evidence-based therapies. These therapies include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), and 12-Step facilitation. Sunrise Detox is accredited by the Joint Commission. Sunrise Detox offers clients semi-private and private rooms, all which have an en-suite bathroom and mounted TVs with local cable. The common areas are open and brightly designed to create a sense of peace and comfort. Sunrise Detox believes that good nutrition is essential when starting the process to recovery. This is why they employ an Executive Chef to prepare all meals and ensure they are both delicious and nutritious. In addition to 3 meals a day, clients have access to a 24 hour dining area that has coffee, tea, juice, and a variety of ready to eat snacks for the clients.
