Sweetgrass Psychiatry’s multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, PhD, master’s, and master’s candidate level therapists, and psychiatric nurses. Psychiatrists collaborate with clients to manage medication and prescribe new medications for a broad range of mental health and substance use conditions. Therapists use multiple treatment modalities, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and
cognitive behavioral therapy (
CBT). Sweetgrass also offers primary care as part of a
holistic approach.
Sweetgrass Psychiatry typically offers esketamine, or Spravato, for adults with treatment-resistant depression, with psychotherapy following esketamine treatment. Clients are monitored for 2 hours following administration of esketamine. Sweetgrass Psychiatry also offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for adults with treatment-resistant depression, typically administered 5 days per week for 6 weeks.
