About Telstone IOP

This outpatient treatment center provides comprehensive care for patients with drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Telstone believes in treating more than just the symptoms and behaviors associated with addiction. They believe that by identifying and treating the complex, emotional issues that addiction stems from, they are able to treat the whole person. Many patients experience co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma or obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). They provide comprehensive outpatient services like partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient programs. Throughout these programs, their clinicians use holistic services to treat the mind, body and spirit of their patients. To prevent cravings and relapse, Telstone also uses medication-assisted treatment to treat alcohol and opioid use disorders. This form of treatment prevents cravings and also normalizes the patient’s brain chemistry.
Telstone has a separate, comprehensive program for patients who struggle with OCD. The program is called The Sydney Merling OCD Center, named after the late clinical director who struggled with severe OCD. In this program, the clinicians treat OCD using exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and habit reversal training (HRT). They offer an IOP which includes a mix of individual and group therapies. Their IOP helps patients manage intrusive thoughts, behaviors and other symptoms that are affecting their daily functioning.
