About The Meadows
The Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona, helps clients break the cycles of trauma and addiction. Their integrated approach blends holistic and clinical therapies, including somatic experiencing, EMDR, Tai Chi, mindfulness, expressive arts, and equine therapy. Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all model, The Meadows designs a specialized continuum of behavioral health services to meet individual needs.
The Meadows operates nine specialized sister programs, such as Claudia Black Young Adult Center, Willow House, and Gentle Path. Their medical and clinical team provides 24-hour nursing, on-site physician care, and leadership from a full-time Chief of Psychiatry. They actively involve families through a dedicated Family Week that strengthens support systems for patients returning home.
The Meadows trains its staff extensively to uphold the clinical depth and nurturing environment of The Meadows Model. They maintain accreditation with The Joint Commission and proudly deliver behavioral health and substance use services to TRICARE members, including active-duty military, veterans, and their families. They also partner with Multiplan and collaborate with many out-of-network providers.
The campus invites reflection and renewal through its open natural spaces, shared living areas, and peaceful desert surroundings. Amenities like the outdoor pool, fitness center, yoga classes, and spiritual counseling encourage physical movement, emotional expression, and holistic well-being throughout the recovery journey.
