About Touchstone Recovery Center

Touchstone Recovery is a residential treatment facility that specializes in helping adults with substance use disorders. Notably, one-third of the staff are alumni of the program, bringing personal experience and empathy to their roles. The facility is also a Fresno County Superior Court mandated rehab center and provides support for individuals transitioning from Fresno County Jail. Individuals typically start with detox services at Touchstone to prepare for their residential treatment program. During detox, Touchstone Recovery monitors individuals’ progress 24 hours a day and minimizes withdrawal symptoms through medication management.
During residential treatment, individuals will stay in a structured, home-like setting in Touchstone Recovery’s residential facility located in Clovis, California. Individuals will start the program with an initial psychological assessment and medication evaluation. Treatment includes medication management, group therapy, 1-on-1 counseling, psychiatry visits, and family counseling. They use evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and experiential therapies like art, yoga, and music therapy. Touchstone offers specialized treatment for those with co-occurring mental health disorders. The program also includes a weekly family program and alumni have access to lifetime support through Touchstone Recovery.
Touchstone Recovery cares about strengthening the whole family and values family participation during treatment. They seek to equip family members in their supportive role by providing family members medically-based, expert advice and education regarding addiction, substance abuse programs, and necessary steps on the path to recovery. Family support services are free for existing patients and alumni.
