About Wings Recovery

Wings Recovery provides a safe healing space for adult women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals to address trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and broken relationships. Their treatment fuses both evidence-based and holistic methods and provides residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient care in addition to transitional housing. Each clients treatment plan is personalized with evidence-based methods such as 1-on-1 therapy, family therapy, EMDR, medication management (MAT), and other trauma-informed methods are incorporated. Additionally, clients can enjoy yoga, acupuncture, mediation, nutrition counseling, and art therapy. At their residential center and transitional living apartments, clients can participate in art activities, music creation, an improv group, and movie and game nights and receive vocational support. Off-site, equine therapy and therapeutic outings are available to clients. Their apartments are tucked in a sunny residential neighborhood near San Diego and feature shared bedrooms, comfortable and modern spaces, and an outdoor lounge area. Wings Recovery is Joint Commission accredited and accepts both public and private insurances.
