Womens and Childrens Center for Inner Healing

Located in a quiet Fairbanks neighborhood, the Women & Children's Center for Inner Healing offers a long-term residential program for pregnant and new mothers with children up to age 7 who are recovering from substance use disorder. This supportive home, complete with its own playground for the children, provides a focused setting where families can begin a healthier chapter.
Through a combination of group and individual counseling, women learn to manage addiction triggers and cycles. The program integrates this therapeutic work with practical instruction in essential life skills and parenting strategies, equipping mothers for long-term stability and success.
Beyond its core residential program, the center provides broader community support, including culturally-focused outpatient counseling. It actively works to prevent suicide and address the opioid crisis, offering comprehensive services that promote wellness and stability for families throughout the Fairbanks area.

2. Active Treatment

Evidence-based therapies including 1-on-1 Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, typically 30 days.

3. Progress & Recovery

Regular progress reviews, skill-building sessions, and adjustment of your treatment plan.

4. Aftercare Planning

Continued support, relapse prevention strategies, and connections to community resources for lasting recovery.
