ATTIC Appleton Addams House

Set in southeast Appleton, near I-441, ATTIC (Alternative To Traditional Incarceration of Citizens) helps adults involved in the state or federal justice system. They work with the courts to find non-prison treatment options, including substance use and mental health treatment, job training, community service options, and housing support. They aim to reduce recidivism, increase public safety, and improve clients' long-term success. Some services ATTIC uses are screenings to determine appropriate alternatives, case management, electronic monitoring, drug and alcohol testing, DUI/OWI court programs, individual therapy, group therapy, and community service arrangements. At this sober living location, clients stay for 60-90 days and avoid jail time, with the goal of developing healthy habits and transitioning back into everyday life.
