About Carolina Recovery Solutions
This center provides solutions for patients with drug and alcohol addiction by providing various treatments ranging from detox to structured housing. Carolina Recovery is owned and operated by a family, which makes the recovery experience feel safe and welcoming. The staff offers individualized treatment regimens since they are aware that every client is unique. They provide medical detox services, because many patients need help detoxing from alcohol and certain drugs. They also offer partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), which are intended to help each client integrate their new selves back into their lives.
The staff uses specific therapies to target the multi-dimensional client. They treat the nervous system and relax it using acupuncture and yoga. Evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation on the disease of addiction are also heavily used and known to be effective in addiction recovery. They also prioritize the importance of community and fellowship by offering 12-Step meetings, spiritual groups, family therapy and group counseling. These types of therapy often help their clients feel less alone. To draw on clients’ creativity and learn about their personalities, the center provides recreational therapy. Carolina Recovery also offers an optional structured housing program for clients to live in while in outpatient treatment, if they need the additional support and accountability.
