About ClearView Communities
ClearView Communities is a long-term residential mental health treatment program located in the suburbs of Frederick, Maryland. The program serves young adults, offering a unique and comprehensive approach for individuals with mental illness who are seeking recovery and independent living within the community.
ClearView Communities integrates evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, nursing and wellness services, along with holistic approaches including art and expressive therapy, wellness, occupational therapy, and a therapeutic nature program. Residents participate in individual and group therapy, medication management, milieu therapy, and life skills training to enhance daily functioning, emotional health, and community involvement. A core element of the program focuses on community integration through supported education, volunteering, and employment opportunities.
Residents live in single-occupancy rooms within co-ed homes that provide a non-institutional, supportive atmosphere. Each residence is a tastefully renovated suburban home featuring shared living areas, fully equipped kitchens, and outdoor gardens with landscaped courtyards. Meals are prepared on-site, and transportation is provided for work, school, appointments, and off-site community activities. This environment promotes both independence and social connection while ensuring comfort and safety.
