Clearview
Outpatient in Los Angeles provides comprehensive and compassionate care for adults struggling with various mental health conditions and personality disorders. They are the only dialectical behavior therapy (
DBT) focused treatment center in the area, offering a full continuum of care that includes a traditional outpatient program (OP),
partial hospitalization program (PHP), and
intensive outpatient program (IOP). Board-certified psychiatrists conduct initial evaluations and oversee treatment provided by licensed and experienced clinicians certified in evidence-based practices. Clearview utilizes DBT therapy through individual therapy sessions and skills building groups, with personally tailored treatment plans that will address each individual’s unique needs.
Clearview offers two outpatient programs: their partial hospitalization program (PHP), and their intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients in PHP at Clearview attend treatment 5 days per week for 6 hours per day, participating in individual, group, and
family therapy. Patients who are eligible for PHP exhibit and struggle with symptoms such as depression, anxiety, losing interest in normal activities, withdrawal from friends and family, behavioral problems, and psychiatric disorders including being at risk of self-harm.
IOP at Clearview creates a structured treatment program designed for individuals who are not responding to traditional or less intensive outpatient programs. IOP offers support for clients who are experiencing distressing symptoms and behaviors that are negatively affecting their everyday life, focusing on building a solid recovery foundation and transitioning into community treatment. Clients in IOP attend treatment 3-5 days per week for 3 hours per day dependent on their individualized treatment needs.
Licensed and certified clinicians lead groups and therapies that incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) focused practices, which include emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. Their Los Angeles location also offers a residential 6 bed treatment home, where patients receive residential therapy in groups no larger than 9 in an intimate and supportive setting.
