The Counseling Center at Millbury provides personalized outpatient treatment for individuals grappling with substance use and mental health disorders. They offer various levels of care, including partial care (day treatment), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and standard outpatient counseling. Their partial care program is their highest level of care consisting of treatment 5 days a week for 5 hours each day. They offer IOP options of either 3 days a week or 5 days a week for about 3 hours each day. They also offer medication management and medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders along with Spravato treatment for individuals with treatment-resistant depression. A key feature of their programming is their comprehensive approach, addressing any co-occurring disorders and helping individuals identify root causes and triggers. The Counseling Center at Millbury uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and also include stress management and life skills education throughout their programming. They work with area VA facilities to offer detox, residential, and outpatient services for mental health and substance use treatment.
