Located near the intersection of Summit Street and Dundee Avenue, with convenient access for clients throughout Chicago’s northwest suburbs, Greater Family Health Elgin Dundee Ave offers teletherapy and in-person psychiatry for a broad range of mental health and substance use conditions, as well as primary care. The 543 bus line stops just outside the building for clients traveling via public transportation. Greater Family Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most private insurance, and offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program for uninsured and underinsured clients. No one will be turned away based on inability to pay. Master’s level therapists provide virtual counseling services for adults and adolescents, integrating various therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and rational-emotive behavioral therapy (REBT). Clients can receive services for a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma substance use, and more. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners collaborate with clients to evaluate psychiatric needs, manage and monitor medication, and help ensure that clients are educated about their medications.
