Focus

This center treats mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. You receive collaborative, individualized treatment that addresses both issues for whole-person healing.

Located in southeastern Massachusetts near the historic town of Middleborough, McLean cares for adults, children, and teens with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), schizophrenia, and trauma disorders. With easy access from the commuter rail just three miles away, the campus offers both inpatient and outpatient services in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. McLean SouthEast uses a collaborative and research-based model that includes therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and exposure therapy. Treatment plans are tailored with input from families and community providers, helping individuals build coping skills, reduce symptoms, and improve daily functioning through structured individual and group sessions. A standout program at McLean SouthEast is the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program (MAMP), an intensive outpatient track designed for youth with anxiety and OCD. This program includes weekly family sessions, skills groups, and psychoeducation, all while allowing kids to stay connected with home and school as they make fast, meaningful progress.
