About Midwest Recovery Centers Mental Health Inpatient

Midwest Recovery Center's residential mental health program offers a path for individuals to reclaim their lives from mental health challenges. This structured, intensive, 45 day program addresses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of well-being-- empowering clients towards recovery.
Midwest Recovery Center offers 1-on-1 and group therapies to enhance motivation in recovery, examine and replace negative thought patterns, and develop positive coping mechanisms. They incorporate music and art therapies, which give clients a creative outlet for emotional expression, along with opportunities for yoga and meditation. They emphasize life skills training to help individuals be successful with managing daily responsibilities in independent living.
They use precision medicine, which uses a person's DNA to learn how a person's body processes various medications. This type of testing removes the need for trial and error when it comes to using medications to manage symptoms and will expedite the process of ensuring individuals are taking the most appropriate medication for their needs. In addition, Midwest Recovery Center offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to treat treatment-resistant depression and other conditions. A safe and non-invasive method, TMS uses small magnetic pulses to stimulate parts of the brain that affects mood regulation.
Midwest Recovery Center's aftercare program offers support after treatment through tools, resources, education, peer support, and counseling as individuals transition to independent living life after treatment. Their therapists and case managers are available to provide ongoing support and resources.
