Monima Wellness Center

Monima Wellness Center is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient program in San Diego, California treating women with mental health concerns and addictions. They offer 3 levels of care: a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and a general outpatient program. Monima offers LGBTQ+ therapy services, providing a supportive and understanding environment for members of the community who are in need of mental health services.
Monima’s therapeutic approach blends holistic and evidence-based therapies to address women’s entire selves in the healing process. Their unique array of holistic therapies include acupuncture, reiki, yoga, somatic experiencing, sound healing, and dance therapy as well as evidence-based approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye movement therapy (EMDR). Monima partners with Ohana Recovery Residences to provide optional transitional living services to clients in the program.

2. Active Treatment

Evidence-based therapies including 1-on-1 Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

3. Progress & Recovery

Regular progress reviews, skill-building sessions, and adjustment of your treatment plan.

4. Aftercare Planning

Continued support, relapse prevention strategies, and connections to community resources for lasting recovery.
