P.E.A.S.E. Academy, established in February 1989, is the nation’s oldest recovery high school, serving grades 8-12 in a supportive environment that combines academic excellence with recovery resources. Located in the University Lutheran Church of Hope in Minneapolis, the academy provides Unlimited Transit Passes for students, with convenient bus access and on-site parking available.
P.E.A.S.E. Academy takes a comprehensive approach to student well-being. The school offers a challenging and nurturing learning environment with small class sizes, helping ensure personalized attention. The academy integrates recovery support into daily activities, including peer support teams, all-school check-in circles, access to licensed alcohol and drug counselors, and sober activities.
