Sunol Hills at Ridgeview is a residential eating disorder treatment center for adolescents. They provide private and shared rooms in a comfortable 6-bed home environment, giving clients a comfortable space to recover. The home features a peaceful outdoor space, access to nature, and chef-prepared meals. Sunol Hills’ approach is an evidence-based approach, using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) alongside holistic therapies like yoga, nutrition counseling, expressive arts, and mindfulness. Clients of the program receive weekly visits with a doctor and psychiatrist. The rest of the care team is composed of nurses, registered dietitians, and psychotherapists.
