Focus
This center treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your treatment plan addresses each condition at once with personalized, compassionate care for comprehensive healing.
A non-profit residential treatment program located at Carol’s Sanctuary in Van Nuys, Teen Project Freehab supports young women ages 18 to 26 recovering from substance use. The program provides safe housing, social-model medical detox, talk therapy, and personal development in a structured, nurturing environment to help residents regain stability and rebuild their lives. Freehab helps young women build independent futures through therapy, education, relapse prevention planning, life skills training, and job training in a supportive setting. Each client works with a therapist and case manager, attending 30 hours of individual and group sessions each week. Clients live in a clean, drug-free home where they are fully supported. They also spend their week working on a high school diploma or GED and attend vocational programs to gain work experience. Freehab is more than just a treatment – it’s a safe place to grow, recover, and plan for a better life ahead.
