About Primrose Lodge

Located in the heart of Surrey, Primrose Lodge helps adults step away from the addiction cycle and give themselves a proper chance to reset in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Their detox and residential programmes address both physical and emotional aspects of recovery, ensuringclients leave equipped with healthier ways to cope.
Primrose Lodge creates a customised treatment plan for each client, including both evidence-based and holistic practices, and involving family in recovery. Toheal the client as a whole, rather than just their addiction, they use a variety of techniques, including a 12-Step approach, group therapy, 1:1 counselling, yoga, fitness, and gong bath meditation. Detox, when necessary, is completed under medical guidance.
Situated in the peaceful countryside of Guildford, Primrose Lodge is conveniently accessible from London and surrounding areas. Landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces offerroom for contemplation, walks, and fresh air. Clients stay in one of 19 private or shared en-suite bedrooms, and enjoy nutritious chef-prepared meals with dietary accommodations made whenever possible. An on-site gym and dedicated wellness spaces support wellbeing through yoga, meditation, art therapy, and acupuncture.
At Primrose Lodge, clients receive12 months of free aftercare. This gives them a chance to keep an open line of communication with other past residents, supported by a trained counsellor in an open, supportive environment. Held on a weekly basis, sessions typically run for about 1.5 hours and are carried out over Zoom. Clients can share achievements made and obstacles faced, and learn from each other’s experiences.
