Tucked away in the rolling green hills of North Carolina, The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is a women’s only, ages 18+, treatment center dedicated to providing individualized, person-centered care. They treat addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, and more. They also offer support for identity exploration, social & emotional development, body image issues, and self-esteem. Clients receive a minimum of 25 hours of clinical care with 2-3 individual counseling sessions per week. All sessions are done with a master's level, dually licensed clinician. The Willows welcomes veterans. They have trauma-support tailored to veterans' needs, and they accept VA insurance. The Willows believes in healing the whole family in recovery. They offer extensive family services rooted in emotionally focused therapy and attachment theory to promote health and healing for the client and her loved ones. There are weekly calls with a family therapist, monthly family workshops, and family intensives. They additionally provide aftercare support programs and an alumni network to help their clients even after they leave the center. The Willows at Red Oak aims to empower every woman to find a deeper sense of self. They provide a robust experiential therapy program with a variety of activities. Some of these include art therapy, rock climbing, horseback riding, canoeing, and ecotherapy. The Willows offers more holistic services like nutritional counseling, yoga, and acupuncture, as well. The Willows at Red Oaks Recovery is part of Bradford Health Services, which cares for adults in the southeastern United States in their residential, day (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment centers.
