In Kampala, Uganda, Focus on Recovery Uganda is a nonprofit organization providing addiction treatment and education services since 2015. Their range of services include outreach work, advocacy, peer education, and training, and a residential treatment program for adults with addictions and mental health concerns. At their residential program, they treat issues including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship problems, and provide educational counseling. Clients may receive an initial assessment, counseling and psychoeducation, detox, medication, and referral for outside services.
