About Prairie Sky Recovery
By providing evidence-based therapies and a cutting-edge approach to recovery, Prairie Sky Recovery Centre provides life-saving drug, alcohol, and non-substance addiction therapy. They offer a variety of residential evidence-based, trauma-responsive addiction recovery programs that treat the disease of addiction by addressing the full person—physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional—in a relational manner.
Prairie Sky Recovery Centre treatment plans include all 12 Step facilitation, emotional wellness, mindfulness, communication and assertiveness training, financial literacy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), recovery safety plans, and aftercare by their recovery coaches. Families of clients can also participate in an included 2-day psychoeducation program.
The 30 bed Prairie Sky Recovery Centre in rural Saskatchewan is housed in a 20,000 square foot historic structure with 6 acres of landscaped grounds providing the utmost in tranquility, security, and solitude. a program that is evidence-based, nonreligious, and nonjudgmental and is effective for persons of any color, sexual orientation, or religion. The Prairie Sky Recovery Center encourages healthy living practices such as yoga, meditation, and relaxation in private and semi-private rooms
